Pakoštane, a place in the very centre of Dalmatia with an unique position between the sea and the Vrana Lake (Vransko jezero) rich in fish. It has a lot of natural beauties, the old pine wood, various beaches, clean inlets and islands. It is surrounded by the National parks "Kornati", "Krka" and "Paklenica". An offer of restaurants, cafes, taverns, disco clubs, shops and sports facilities is also huge. This place of a miraculous beauty, peculiar Mediterranean atmosphere and friendly inhabitants, will make your vacation unforgettable.
The municipality of Pakoštane is situated between two airports, Zadar and Split, what enables an easy and quick access to this area, where the main traffic direction Rijeka-Zadar-Split goes trough and the road direction Zagreb-Obrovac-Benkovac. There is an everyday ferry line Rijeka-Zadar-Split, as well as a ferry line with Italian coast (Ancona-Zadar) a few times a week. There is also a possibility of coming by railway from direction Zagreb-Knin-Split, with the separate line for Zadar and Šibenik.
